Chef Vinesh Johny is the Co-founder and Executive Pastry Chef of Lavonne Academy of Baking Science & Pastry Arts. After graduating from culinary school, he went on to work with The Oberoi Group of Hotels and Starwood Hotels & Resorts, in various capacities. He has won several accolades like the Pastry Chef of the Year by the prestigious Restaurant India Award 2016 and recognition in the Forbes 30 under 30 Asia list for 2016 in the Arts category, Forbes All Star Alumni Asia list in 2017 and more. Under his leadership, Lavonne brought home the Times Food & Nightlife Awards 2017 in the category of Best Confectionery consecutively. He is a World Skills Expert, and officially represented India at WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017. He is also the Ex-Officio Chairman of the Pastry Council of India.
