Foodhall Cookery Studio
This five day course is designed for students who are about to go to college or university or who are leaving halls of residence to fend for themselves.
They will learn basic cooking techniques like how to choose ingredients, how to use leftovers, how to budget and manage money and learn wholesome Home style dishes, to help Stay away from junk food which will help them survive healthily through their time away.
They will leave with an apron, a folder of easy but nutritious recipes and an enthusiasm for cooking.
They will cook both individually and in pairs and will be shown how to plan and cook meals which will not break their budget.
During the course, they will cook their own lunches and will have prepared dishes to take away with them at the end of every day.
The course is aimed to boost the students’ confidence and transform store bought packaged food into a restaurant style meal.
Learn everything you need, to survive university life; from egg preparations to soups, one pot meals to Indian snacks.
Students must be above the age of 13yrs
No prior culinary experience required as this is a beginners course
